Taklifchi — the complete guide

From zero to a working referral bot

This guide takes you from knowing nothing to a working bot. Follow the steps in order — don't skip, each one builds on the last.

First, understand how it works

Picture what you're building.

You create your own bot. Here's the flow:

  1. Someone opens your bot and gets a personal link
  2. They send it to their friends
  3. Friends join your public channel — the bot counts them
  4. Once the goal is reached, access to the private channel is granted automatically
You need two chats. 📥 Source — the public channel people are invited to. 🎁 Reward — the private channel access is granted to. They can be the same chat, but usually they're separate.

What you need before starting

Three things. Create whatever you're missing now.

  • A Telegram account — you have one
  • A public channel or group — where people get invited. No? Telegram → ✏️ → “New Channel” → name it → choose Public
  • A private channel — the reward lives here. “New Channel” → Private. Your course or materials go in here
Put your material in the private channel first — people shouldn't land in an empty room.

Create a project in Taklifchi

You sign up inside @taklifchi_robot.

  3. Tap 🚀 Start — create a project
  4. Type your project name — e.g. “Biology course”. Only you see it; the bot's name is set separately

Create your own bot

Get a token from BotFather. Takes a minute.

  1. Open @BotFather (Telegram's official bot)
  2. Send /newbot
  3. Type the bot name — this is what people see, e.g. Biology course
  4. Type the username — it must end in bot, e.g. biology_course_bot. If it's taken, pick another
  5. BotFather gives you the token:
    1234567890:AAF3cfHWy6zKf4hFS8yWnpxuwYkXdDdrNiE
⚠️ The token is the key to your bot. Never share it. If it leaks, use @BotFather → /revoke.

Send the token to Taklifchi

Your bot goes live.

Copy the token and send it to @taklifchi_robot. Write nothing else — just the token itself.

Within seconds you'll get “✅ Bot is live!”. Your message is deleted immediately — the token doesn't stay in the chat.

The token is stored encrypted. If you get an error, check you copied the whole token with no stray spaces.

Make the bot an admin of your channels

The most important step. This is where people get stuck.

The bot can't find your channel on its own. Add it to both channels.

  1. Open the channel → Manage
  2. Administrators → Add Admin
  3. Search for your bot's username and select it
  4. Enable the rights and Save
Required rights:
  • ✅ Invite users via link — required, nothing works without it
  • ✅ Post messages — for the public leaderboard
Do this in both channels — source and reward. In the private channel also turn on “Approve new members”.

In @taklifchi_robot pick your project → 🛠 Admin panel. Or tap the Panel button at the bottom of the chat.

The first screen shows a “Finish the setup” checklist. It always points at your next step, so you can't get lost.

Only the owner and moderators see the panel. Regular users never see it.

Create a campaign

You set the rule: how many invites earn what reward.

  1. In the panel go to 🎯 Campaigns → New campaign
  2. Name it — e.g. “Free lesson”
  3. 📥 Source chat — pick your public channel
  4. 🎁 Reward chat — pick your private channel
  5. 🔢 Goal — how many invites are needed. 3–5 is a good start
  6. Switch the status to Active
Channels missing from the list? The bot isn't an admin yet — go back to step 6. Posting a message in the channel makes the bot notice it faster.

Protection against fake accounts

Without this, people will game your campaign.

The campaign page has a ⏳ Retention time setting. An invite only counts if the person stays in the channel that long.

  • 0 — counts instantly. Easy to game, not recommended
  • 1440 (1 day) — a good balance
  • 4320 (3 days) — strict, for valuable rewards

The bot also scores new and suspicious accounts. A high score puts the invite “in review” — you approve or reject it in the panel.

During the retention window an invite sits as “pending” — that's normal, not a bug.

Test it

Check it yourself before sharing.

  1. In the panel tap ⚙️ Settings → Diagnostics. The bot tells you whether everything is right
  2. Open your own bot, press /start
  3. Get your personal link
  4. From another account, open the link and join the channel
  5. Check that the count changed in the panel
Link says “expired”? The bot isn't an admin in the reward channel, or it lacks the “Invite users via link” right. Go back to step 6.

Share it

Now you need people.

  • Post in your channel: “Invite a friend — get free access”
  • Put the bot link in your stories and your profile
  • Use 📣 Broadcast in the panel to reach your current subscribers
  • Turn on the 🏆 Public leaderboard — a TOP-10 inviters post goes in your channel and refreshes hourly. It creates competition
If the reward is trivial, nobody will bother. Give something genuinely valuable: a full lesson, a private stream, a real discount.

If something doesn't work

SymptomCause and fix
Bot says “no campaign”The campaign status isn't Active, or the start date hasn't arrived. Check the campaign page.
Link says “expired”The bot isn't an admin in the reward channel, or lacks the “Invite users via link” right. Step 6.
Channel missing from the listThe bot hasn't seen it yet. Post a message in the channel or re-add the bot as admin.
Invites aren't countedPeople must join the source chat, not the reward. Also: during retention the status stays “pending”.
Reward wasn't grantedThe goal isn't met, or invites are “in review”. Panel → Users → that person.
The panel won't openClose and reopen the bot — that's how Telegram refreshes the Mini App cache.
